Hyomax-Sl 0.125 mg

The common brand names for Hyomax-Sl 0.125 mg are Levsin/SL and Hyosol/SL. Hyomax sublingual is the monograph title for the drug of 0.125 mg strength. Like Hyomax 0.375 mg, it should ideally be stored away from moisture and light at room temperature within 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F).


This medicine is used to treat a number of intestinal problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and cramps. It should be taken orally. Patients should place the medicine on their tongue. This would make it quickly dissolve with the saliva and enter into the system without being swallowed. It can be taken with or without water.

Patients aged 12 years or more should not have more than 1.5 milligrams in a single day. Children who are aged between 2 and 12 years are not advised to have over 0.75 milligrams during the same time period. For further information, you should have a talk with your doctor or pharmacist.
